HAPPY NEW YEAR-for real this time!

Happy New Year! It snowed here last night, and I know for alot of people that is fairly common in the winter. However, I live at the elevation of 96 feet above sea level, smack dab in the middle of the Sacramento Valley. It's probably been 10 years since the last time we've seen snow. I hope that this is sign from the powers that be that this year will be a step up from 2010. I made the kids get up at 2:30am to see the snow (they weren't asleep yet) and they loved it. Don't know if anyone got any good pictures, especially know that the snow has turned to rain and it's melting what accumulated on the ground. If someone did, I will post later.
